so these lepers, in 2 kings 7…they had nothing to lose. so they went ahead and did it. what the heck.
and God used them. if i would just lay it all down… then i could be the same. i’d have nothing to lose. and i would always be ready to use.

so…God, take it all from me? is that what i’m supposed to get from this? take it all from me, so that you can use me where you want me? and when i come to a point of decision, i can just say, what the heck! i might as well try and help out. i’ve got nothing to lose.
if i am that leper, i do not fear death from the enemy who has not left the camp. if i find no food today, what does it matter—? i don’t have longer to live anyway. and if i find blessing there, i can’t keep it all to myself. i’m just a leper. why not share…
yes, lepers were the only ones God wanted to use to find that empty camp.
